Aleksey Pesoshin: It is important to implement advanced technologies in the road construction branch more actively

On 26 August at the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum held at the Kazan Expo International exhibition Centre, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a round table meeting moderated by the regional Minister of Transport and Road Economy Farit Khanifov and dedicated to issues of expanding the use of regional petrochemical products in the road construction. 

In its report the Deputy Head of the Directorate of the technical policy and innovation technologies of the Avtodor Company Sergey Ilyin told about the company experience in using petrochemical products at the road construction sites, representatives of the Kazan Civil Engineering University informed about implementation of its research developments, in particular local modified materials, in the road construction branch and other companies reported about their technologies in soil stabilization, using sealing materials and other projects. 

Giving his comments, the regional Prime Minister emphasized the importance of implementation of advanced technologies in the road construction branch. “The development of high quality and safe road network remains our priority and science plays the key role in this process. We need more innovative solution,” Aleksey Pesoshin said.
