Tatarstan President meets with activists of Tatarstan oil industry

On November 25 during his working trip to Almetievsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with activists of Tatarstan oil industry.
Rustam Minnikhanov informed about voluntary retirement of Director General Shafagat Takhautdinov. The decision was approved by the company’s Board, however, Shafagat Takhautdinov will keep his seat in the Board as a Board Chairman Advisor.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Shafagat Takhautdinov for his work for the good of the republic.
Nail Maganov, who had earlier held the post of First Deputy Director General, was appointed company’s Director General.
Speaking to activists of the industry, Rustam Minnikhanov said that maintaining stability in the republic is the priority task for Tatarstan leadership. “Oil industry is the basis of regional economy, and oil industry workers ensure stability in Tatarstan,” he said.

Participants of the meeting also discussed current social and economic situation in the republic.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “
Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
