Briefing about readiness of Tatarstan Election System to the coming elections held in the Government House of the republic
On 9 September at a briefing in the Government House of the republic and dedicated to issues of organizing and holding the single day of voting, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Tatarstan Andrey Kodratyev told that the elections of the Rais of the republic, of members of the local self-government bodies as well as the additional elections of a member of the State Council of the republic from the Melecess constituency will be held on 14 September.
He stated that the preparation work for the elections is done in strict accordance with the law, openly and publicly and informed that for the first time residents of the republic who are in Moscow on 14 September will be able to cast their vote there and there is also the voting campaign organized for citizens who are currently participating in the special military operation .
He also informed about work of the “Mobile voter” service working in the republic since30 July, information tools used in the election campaign and the hot line numbers. Those people, who will not be able to come to the polling stations in person, will be able to cast their slips at home, he said.
Andrey Kondratyev also informed about training of observers and that their number at the stations is expected to be from 10 to 14 thousand and about the situational center which will monitor the elections and respond to all arising questions and complaints.
In conclusion he invited all residents of the republic to exercise their right and to choose in favour of the future of Tatarstan and reminded that polling stations will be open from 7am till 8 pm all over the republic on 14 September.
