Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in All-Russia meeting on preparation for winter season

On November 27 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in All-Russia meeting on preparation for winter season held by Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev.
Opening the meeting, Head of Russian Government said that people’s living conditions for a long period depend on proper preparation for winter season. This year it was rather complicated to carry out preparatory works because of flood in Far East region. Another problem is shallowing of Northern rivers and early end of navigation.
Dmitry Medvedev informed that 2.5 bln m² of housing were to be prepared for winter season. In general, the plan was completed, however, some regions did not manage to carry out preparatory work in time.
One of main negative factors is the increase in fuel and power debts of enterprises of housing and utility sector (113 mln rubles).
Russian Minister of municipal economy Mikhail Men informed that readiness of housing facilities for winter is 99,9%, boiler houses and water supply lines - 100 %, heat supply systems - 99,9%.
By and large, regions planned to allocate 301,7 bln rubles for preparatory works.
Russian Minister of Energy Aleksandr Novak, and Minister of Far East development Aleksandr Galushka made reports at the meeting.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
