Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin attends the final of Russian Rugby Championship-2025: the Strela-Ak Bars team became the Russian champion
On October 12, at the Tulpar Stadium in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin attended the 2025 Russian Rugby Championship final match between Strela-Ak Bars (Kazan) and Dynamo (Moscow). Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Russian Rugby Federation Igor Artemyev attended the match.
Strela-Ak Bars has reached the Russian Rugby Championship final for the second time in its history. According to the championship regulations, the teams with the highest ranking in the regular season receive home field rights in the final-place matches. Therefore, the match for first place and the championship shield between Strela-Ak Bars and Dynamo is being held in Kazan. Following the match, Strela-Ak Bars became the 2025 Russian Champion, winning Dynamo Moscow in the final. The match ended with a score of 32:30 (15:6, 17:24). The victory marked the Kazan club's debut title.
