Aleksey Pesoshin at parliamentary hearings: The main parameters of the Tatarstan budget are formed based on the baseline scenario conditions and forecast for the economic development of the country

On 15 October, speaking at parliamentary hearings on a draft law ”On Budget of Tatarstan for 2026 and the planned period of 2027 and 2028” held at the State Council of the republic, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin said that the main parameters of the Tatarstan budget are formed based on the baseline scenario conditions and forecast for the economic development of Russia.

Summarizing results of the meeting, Aleksey Pesoshim attracted attention to key moments and said it is important to maintain a balanced economic and budgetary policy aimed at ensuring the sustainable and efficient operation of enterprises, stimulating investment and entrepreneurial activity, and improving the quality of life of the population.

The  budget of the republic remains socially focused, accounting for approximately 85% of total expenditures. It is essential to fully and adequately fulfill all social obligations, the Prime Minister emphasized and stated that the budget will be implemented by state programmes which will be also financed from the concrete federal national projects.

“Regarding the expenditure side, it can be said that the expenses are of an objective nature,” Aleksey Pesoshin stated.

Following the parliamentary hearings, recommendations were developed that will be taken into account in further work on the draft budget and in the nearest future the Committee on Budget, Taxes and Finance will prepare a summary report so that the draft law can be considered by the State Council of the republic in the first reading.
