Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in opening a transport bypass of the Village of Sokury in Laishevo region

Agency Roman Novikov and the Chairman of the Board of the Alekseevskfdorstroy Company Foat Valiev took part in  a solemn ceremony of opening a new road – the bypass of the Village of Sokury in Laishevo region of the republic. 

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched the new road traffic via video link and emphasized that the ceremony is being held on the eve of two professional holidays in the transport industry – Road Workers' Day and Automobile and Urban Passenger Transport Workers' Day. “ Lives of millions of our citizens depend on reliable and uninterrupted transport links By 2030, at least 85 percent of federal highways and roads in major urban agglomerations, as well as roads in the backbone network of Russia, must be brought up to standard. Today we are taking another step in this large, complex project – opening a number of new road infrastructure facilities, “he said

The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin informed about measures taken for the development of road economy in the country and congratulated everyone with having opened a new road facility. “I am confident that residents of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the Republic of Tatarstan, and Karelia, where the President today ceremoniously launched traffic on these road infrastructure projects, will appreciate the positive impact they have had,” he said.

In his turn Aleksey Pesoshin thanked the President of the country for supporting the republic and for implementation of large scale infrastructural projects. “This is the construction of M12 highway, reconstruction of M-7 and a number of other projects. All these give new opportunities.  The reconstruction of the current section of the R-239 highway will allow for the construction of over 7.5 million square meters of housing in the Laishevsky hub of the republic, and new production sites will emerge,” he said.
