As many as 314 thousand tonnes of livestock and poultry meat and 1 million 405 thousand tonnes of milk produced in Tatarstan in the first 9 months of 2025

On 18 October, speaking at a regional meeting held by the Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via video conference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported  that as of today 42  thousand hectares of sugar beet have been harvested and sugar plants of the republic have processed  593 thousand tonnes of raw material producing 82 thousand tonnes of sugar.

He informed that more than 1346 thousand hectares of 87% autumn ploughed area have been ready and some regions have already completed the autumn ploughing.

Marat Zyabbarov also reported abut results of cattle breeding for nine month of the current year, having said that farmers of the republic have produced 314 thousand tonnes of poultry and meat which makes 102 per cent compared to 2024 and 1m405 thousand tonnes of milk or 106 per cent compared to last year’s production.  

He said that agribusiness enterprises gain good results due to construction of modern dairy farms and seven of them for 2 576 cows have already been put into operation this year with 23 investments projects  for 22 thousand cows more being at different stages of implementation.

Marat Zyabbarov told that on 28 October the Ministry has planned a meeting with participation of heads of municipalities, agribusiness holdings and farms which will summarize results of the development of the cattle breeding for nine months in 2025 and carry our detailed analysis with setting up points of industrial indicators growth.
