Board Chairman of Russian Pension Fund: “We thank Tatarstan leadership for developing information technologies”

On December 17 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an extended session of Russian Pension Fund at Kazan City Hall, where Board Chairman of the Fund Anton Drozdov said that Tatarstan Department is one of the most up-to-date in terms of implementing modern information technologies.
Opening the session, Anton Drozdov thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for invitation to hold the session in Tatarstan. He said that the republic is known as the leader in the sphere of electronic technologies, and Tatarstan Department of Russian Pension Fund is one of the most up-to-date in this area.
According to Tatarstan President, Tatarstan steadily holds leading positions in federal ratings and has become one of the most investment-attractive regions in Russia. Tatarstan is in top 5 regions by GRP, capital investments and the share of investment products.
Tatarstan Department of Russian Pension Fund that fulfills all set tasks successfully plays an important role in social and economic life of the republic, it is one of largest departments in Russia the President said. The strategic priority task of the department development is increasing quality and availability of state services.
Board Chairman of Russian Pension Fund Anton Drozdov made report on preliminary results of work for 2013 and tasks for 2014. He informed that the average rate of the retirement pension made 10741 rubles, average pension of persons disabled as a result of war injuries made 24280 rubles, participants of the Great Patriotic War – 25283 rubles, average social pension made 6459 rubles.
According to Anton Drozdov, almost 78 mln people have funded component of pension that requires proper administration. Therefore, the pension savings guarantee system is being implemented.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
