Meeting on improvement of building technical regulation system as the basis of building security held at Tatarstan Government House

On December 18 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utility Services Leonod Stavitsky took part in a meeting on improvement of building technical regulation system as the basis of building security at Tatarstan Government House.
The Republic of Tatarstan was ranked first among regions of Volga Federal District and 5th among Russian regions in terms of construction volumes. 2.4 bln m² of housing were commissioned in the republic in 2013.
Rustam Minnikhanov informed that Tatarstan building sphere has wide opportunities, there are 6.5 thousand building organisations in the region. And there is also lack of highly skilled workers in the industry.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that a huge amount work was done during preparation for summer Universiade 2013. A lot of new sports venues, cultural and educational institutions were constructed, and transport infrastructure was modernized.
Moreover, a lot of objects were built under social mortgage, capital repair and other programmes.
Rustam Minnikhanov continued that approval of regulations and standards in building industry is very important as new projects such as Innopolis, Smart-City Kazan, industrial facilities in Nizhnekamsk and Special Economic Zone “Alabuga” are to be implemented.
On 24 February during his working trip to Zelenodolsk region of the republic, the Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a joint meeting of the Council of Zelenodolsk Municipality and the Council of the town of Zelenodolsk dedicated to results of social and economic development of the region in 2024 and tasks for 2025 and held in the Center of Cultural Development of Zelenodolsk.
On 24 February during his working trip to Zelenodolsk region Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin together with the Head of the region Mikhail Afanasyev took part in a ceremony of handing in medals “80 years to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII)” to two war veterans, a residents of the blockaded Leningrad and the home front worker living in the region.

On 18 February during his working trip to the Village of Verkhniy Uslon Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin had a meeting with the home front worker Khazyar Shaykhlislamova, who was born on 26 December 1929 and during all years of the WWII worked as a milkmaid in the Izmerskiy sovkhoz, and handed her in a jubilee medal dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
