Ildar Khalikov: “Zainsk State Regional Electric Power Plant has always been the flagman of the regional electric power system”

On December 20 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in a solemn event dated to Day of energy workers and 50th anniversary of Zainsk State Regional Electric Power Plant in Zainsk.
To the point, the decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on construction of Zainsk GRES was signed on May 17, 1955. Since 1959 the intensive construction of the first energy block and township for energy workers started. On February 29, 1963 block number 1 was accepted for operation. This date is considered to be the birthday of the Zainsk State Electric Power Plant.
Due to expanded oil production in Tatarstan the decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on increase of the capacity of the electric power plant was signed. In 1972 the capacity of the plant reached a value of 2400 megawatt and the plant became the top ten largest electric power plants of the country. In 1976 upon completion of the construction of all facilities at the industrial site and township, Zainsk State Regional Electric Power Plant was accepted for constant industrial operation.
Today, Zainsk State Regional Electric Power Plant is one of the 40 largest electro power stations of the country in the capacity. Zainsk State Regional Electric Power Plant covers more than 30% of demand in electric power in Tatarstan. Since being accepted in operation the plant has generated 560 bln kW*hour of electric power, which is equal to the annual power consumption by the whole Russia.
Director General of OAO “Generation company” Rauzil Khaziev congratulated the team of Zainsk State Regional Electric Power Plant on the anniversary.
Ildar Khalikov congratulated the staff of the plant on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. “Zainsk Electric Power Plant has always been the flagman of Tatarstan electric power system. The construction of the station has become an important event in the life of the republic and laid the foundation for development of many regional industries,” he said.
Head of Tatarstan Government thanked all employees of Zainsk Electric Power Plant for their labour. He also extended a special word of gratitude to veterans who not only built the station and worked at the plant for many years, but share their experience with the coming generation.
Ildar Khalikov congratulated the staff of the plant on the upcoming Day of energy workers and presented some awards.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
