Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia Galym Orazbakov

On December 23 at their meeting at a representative office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia Galym Orazbakov discussed further cooperation in certain areas.
Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tatarstan is based on inter-governmental agreement about principles of trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation from April, 3, 1996, and Protocol on establishing inter-governmental commission. The decisions about opening Consulate General and trade representation of the Republic of Kazakhstan were made in 2012. On February 12, 2013 Consul General Nuskabai Askhat Zharlykasynovich received consular exequatur of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On July 5, 2013 the Consulate General of Kazakhstan Republic was opened in Kazan. It is also planned to open the trade representation of Kazakhstan and representative office of “Air Astana” company in Kazan.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
