Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in awarding winners of regional public contest “Manager of the year 2013”

On December 24 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn event on summarizing results of regional public contest “Manager of the year 2013” at Korston hotel. The contest is held in accordance with Tatarstan President’s Edict dated February 26, 2002 № 121. The contest commission headed by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov carries out the contest management.
The functions of organizing committee are fulfilled by the Association of enterprises and entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan represented by the Fund “Tatarstan. Managers of the 21st century”. Official documents are available on the website www.rgrt.ru .
Welcoming winners of the contest and participants of the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated everyone on finishing the year.
“It was not an easy year for us, we held many events, and one of them was world summer Universiade. Despite a difficult economic situation, we managed to maintain economic results, and Tatarstan GRP made 1 trillion 520 bln rubles. For sure, it is due to a hard work of managers and their teams that are here today. Congratulations to you and your personnel on having such results at the end of the year,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Rustam Minnikhanov also mentioned two other important events, transfer of heads of two major industrial enterprises, former Director of Tataneft oil company Shafagat Takhautdinov and Head of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Vladimir Busygin, to other positions.
Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan achieved such economic results because of team work.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
