Aleksey Pesoshin hands in Diplomas to graduates of Innopolis University
On 7 August Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a solemn ceremony of handing in diplomas to graduates of Innopolis University, where he welcomed them on behalf of the Government of the republic and congratulated with having graduated the university.
“Today you are not just receiving diplomas of a prestigious university but are becoming a part of a community of professionals who define technological development of our republic and the country in the whole. We are interested in having graduates stay in Tatarstan - the infrastructure comfortable for life and work has been created such as the modern town on Innopolis, special economic zones, technical parks and companies-residents,” he stated.
“We count on your participation in digital transformation of economy and social sphere of our republic,” Aleksey Pesoshin said and added: ”I would like to thank the faculty and mentors for not just having passed their knowledge to students but also provided comprehensive support as well as to express gratitude to parents who have been your main support all these years.”
In their words of encouragement, the regional Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov and the Rector of the university Dmitriy Vandyukov said that this university is one of the best IT higher educational institutions of the country.
In 2026 Innopolis University graduated 357 IT specialists, researchers, robotics experts and engineers from 16 countries, many of whom, instead of traditional thesis projects, worked on real-world projects for industry and science.
Over the course of 12 years, the University has trained 2 067 graduates who opened their startups and were employed by leading Russian IT companies, research labs and technological centers of Innopolis University.
