Tatarstan President visits outdoor entertainment sites in Kazan

On December 27 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin visited the New Year Tree in the Millennium park, ice village near the Puppet Theater and ice skating rink at Kazan Arena stadium.
Rustam Minnikhanov saw festive performance near the New Year Tree and talked to citizens in the Millennium part.
Tatarstan President also looked around construction works in the ice village located near the Puppet Theater. According to builders, the village is expected to be open on December 30. Ice sculptures, snow fortresses to play snowball and ice-hills will be located there.
Later on the same day, Rustam Minnikhanov together with Ilsur Metshin tried the ice skating rink at Kazan Arena Stadium and drank tea at an outdoor café afterwards.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “
Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
