2.398,2 mln m² of housing commissioned in Tatarstan in 2013

On December 28 at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Municipal Economy Irek Faizullin reported that with 2.398,2 mln m² of housing commissioned in Tatarstan the plan were fulfilled by 100 per cent in 2013.
According to Irek Faizullin, it is estimated that 2.399 mln m² of housing, including 393.9 thousand m² of social mortgage housing will be commissioned in 2014.
Irek Faizullin told about implementation of a long-term programme aimed at liquidation of dilapidated housing for 2013-2017. It is expected that 1688 dilapidated housing will be resettled under the programme.
As for construction of rental housing, 20 houses with total area of 77955 m² are to be commissioned in 2014.
Head of Tatarstan Ministry of Construction reported that as of December 27, 2013 funds aimed at providing orphan and abandoned children with housing were completely used.
It was said that 1 bln 257 mln 860 thousand rubles were allocated from the federal budget and used in full to improve living conditions for veterans of the Great Patriotic War in 2013.
It is expected that 90 children’s pre-school educational institutions will be commissioned in 2014 with 5.1 bln rubles allocated for this purpose.
Summing up, Tatarstan President noted that works must be organized at construction sites from January 3, because a great number of facilities to be built and commissioned in 2014.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
