Results of regional contest “IT champion” were summarized at Kazan IT park on December 28. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov presented awards to the winners.
The contest was held among children and was aimed at promoting state and municipal services in electronic format. 253 thousand pupils took part in the contest. They taught 320 thousand adults to work on the Portal of state and municipal services, helped to register personal accounts and make payments. By results of each round, three most active pupils from every municipal region were awarded with iPads.
Pupils could reveal their skills in programming, design, PR, offer original ideas to improve electronic services in a creative nomination “Development of the Portal of state and municipal services”.
When the contest was launched in March 2013, there were 325 thousand personal accounts on the portal, whereas now there are 900 thousand accounts registered.
The contest helped to increase the number of monthly rendered services in Tatarstan by 60 per cent.
In May 2013 the contest “IT champion” was announced the best project of All-Russia contest “PROF-IT” of regional and municipal informational support in nomination “Promotion of electronic government services”.
Today, Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov and Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov presented awards in creative nomination.
Ildar Khalikov noted merits of teachers and directors of schools, who supported their pupils. He also informed that in accordance with Tatarstan President’s decision, the contest will be held in 2014.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
