Energy workers awarded for preparation for Universiade in Kazan

On January 11 Tatarstan Prime-Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the event dedicated to awarding energy workers, who took part in preparation for holding the Universiade 2013 and providing continuous energy supply during the Games.
To the point, specialists from JSC “Grid company” and a number of other companies from Tatarstan and other Russian regions, federal energy companies provided energy supply during World University Games in Kazan.
Congratulating energy workers, Ildar Khalikov called them his colleagues. “We did a great job together. At the very beginning it was hard to believe that we would be able to do all that job. But the day of opening the Universiade showed that we managed to do everything planned and even more,” Ildar Khalikov noted.
According to Tatartsan Prime Minister Universiade 2013 will go down in the history of Tatarstan as well as the whole country. Ildar Khalikov is sure that it is important to show that we are in position to hold such events, especially on the threshold of the Olympic Games in Sochi.
Head of Tatarstan Government thanked everybody, who took part in providing continuous energy supply during the Universiade, on behalf of Tatarstan President and personally and presented a number of state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan, awarded professional titles and letters of gratitude.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
