Forum of national media agencies to be held in Tatarstan

On January 14 at a summary session of Regional press and mass media agency Head of the agency Irek Minnakhmetov told that a forum of national media agencies will be held in Tatarstan in 2014.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Office Asgat Safarov, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Kamaltynov, Deputy Chairman of State Council, Chairman of the Union of journalists Rimma Ratnikova took part in the event.
According to Irek Minnakhmetov, the forum will be held to discuss urgent issues of interethnic and interconfessioanl relations, current state and prospects of Russian regional and national media agencies, to exchange experience, and hold seminars. 150 representatives of leading media agencies from 50 Russian regions are expected to take part in the forum.
Irek Minnakhmetov made a keynote report at today’s session. He told that the amount of state orders of media agencies made 1 bln 202 mln rubles. Two major media holdings, OAO Tatmedia and TNV, have main shares of the state order. The proceeds of OAO Tatmedia made 1 bln 303 mln rubles. Media agencies receive the biggest share of incomings due to commercial projects and advertisement.
The average salary of employees of media agencies made 21 300 rubles.
According to resolution of experts of the Association of communication agencies of Russia, total advertising volume of media agencies for 9 months of 2013 made 197 bln rubles. All media segments of advertising market showed positive dynamics except for press.
On 14 February, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of the Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed that 561 courtyards are to be improve within the Our Yard programme in the republic in 2026.
In his address on the occasion of the Russian Science Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated scientists, researchers and lecturers of the republic with the event and wrote: “Science has always been and remains one of the main driving forces of progress and foundation for the development of economy, social sphere and education. Due to your talent, work and dedication to your vocation Tatarstan occupies the leading positions in many scientific spheres starting from petrochemical and IT technologies to biotechnologies and materials engineering. Today, based on glorious traditions of Russian and Tatarstan scientists, you are making a substantial contribution into ensuring scientific and technological sovereignty of Russia and solve the most important tasks of import replacement, digitalization and sustainable development.
On February 3, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of opening XXI All-Russia competitions in fire-rescue sports for the Cup of the Tatarstan Prime Minister, held in the gym of the Chief Department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan with participation of 21 teams from various regions of Russia - a total of about 430 people.
On 31 January, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin reported that capital overhaul of nine school in eight municipalities of the republic has started.
