The republic of Belarus is interested in cooperation with Tatarstan in oil sector and building of sport facilities for Universiade-2013

Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Prime Minister of Belorus Sergey Sidorsky have singed intergovernmental protocol for cooperation in 2009-2010. The document is expected to increase the sales volume and expand cooperation between republics.

During the visit to Belorus Tatarstan delegation observed some machine-building enterprises such as republican unitary enterprises “Minsk Tractor Works” and "Minsk Automobile Plant".

According to Sergey Sidorsky, Belorus is interested in cooperation with Tatarstan in oil sector. He also emphasizes that Tatarstan has maintained strong petrochemical complex as far as Belorus. At the meeting the participants discussed presence of JSC “Tatneft” in Belarus, including construction of petrol stations. Besides, Prime Minister of Belarus offered to discuss the participation of their enterprises in preparation for Summer Universiade-2013.

Aide to Prime Minister on foreign economic activity Iskander Muflikhanov informed that Tatarstan delegation plans to visit a number of sport facilities in Minsk such as cycle track, football manege and stadium.
