Tatarstan athletes to receive 4 million rubles for gold Olympic medals from Tatarstan Government

On February 4 at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Minister of Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov reported that Tatarstan athletes will receive 4 million rubles for gold Olympic medals from Tatarstan Govrenment. A silver winner from Tatarstan will receive 2.5 million rubles, a bronze medalist – 1.7 million rubles.
“Coaches will receive 50% of the sum their trainees will get,” he reminded. To the point, Russian government will pay 4 million rubles for a gold medal, 2.5 million rubles for silver and 1.7 million rubles for bronze. Rafis Burganov also reminded that eight athletes from Tatarstan will take part in the Olympic Games. They are hockey players Ilya Nikulin, Aleksey Tereschenko, Evgeny Medvedev, Aleksander Svitov, biathlonists Niyaz Nabeev and Iban Panin, skiers Anastasia Dotsenko and Natalia Zhukova. Marat Zaynullin and Rushan Minnegulov will represent Tatarstan at Paralympic Games.
Director General of ANO “Executive Directorate of “Kazan 2013” Azat Kadyrov added that Tatarstan creative teams will take part in Olympic and Paralympic events in Sochi.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
