Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov: « Republic will develop system of tax remissions for address support of the enterprises - in particular, a defensive complex »

Despite of intricate results of the fourth quarter, in the whole 2008 was positive for the economy of Republic Tatarstan. The Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated this on joint collegium of RT Ministry of Finance, Management of Federal tax service on RT and Management of Federal Treasury on RT.
The chief of Federal Treasury office Roman Artyukhin also took part in the work of collegium.
The head of the RT government reminded that growth of a total regional product by results of 2008 has made 7 %. The record quantity of habitation - 2,2 million sq. m. has been commissioned innthe republic. Serious investments were made in the infrastructure of technoparks and business-incubators, constituting an innovative component of the economy. In 2008 real incomes of the population have grown likewise.
Now - in conditions of world financial crisis - the economy should be operated in « a manual mode », Rustam Minnikhanov asserted. In order to to form a profitable part, the harmonious work of all departments - tax and exchequer services, financiers is necessary, RT Prime Minister reminded. Besides it is necessary to provide the work of bank system.
«The main task today - support of real sector of the economy, - Prime Minister said. - a serious support in this aspect is rendered by the federal government but if we don't provide collecting of taxes, generation of the added cost we may appear in a difficult situation».
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that the federal center takes up such measures for backing subjects of federation, as tax remissions. As he said, the republic also assumes to develop the system of tax remissions for address support of the enterprises - in particular, the enterprises of a defensive complex.
Besides we shall support small and middle business which is involved in real sector of economy, head of the RT government informed.
Roman Artyukhin noted that as a whole across Russia decrease in profitable base is marked. As he said, there is a process of cutting limits of budgetary obligations (now - by 15 %) is underway. First of all, such articles as operational expenses (except for municipal payments and salary), means for purchasing and realization of new projects due to be reduced. It is supposed to direct the saved resources of the federal budget on support of real sector of the economy and on implementation of the programs on reieving tension on labour market and provision of people's employment.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
