Number of the unemployed in Tatarstan reached 34. 967

During the last week the number of unemployed people increased by 4 000 people. The information was presented at the meeting of republican interdepartmental commission on living standards improvement and income legalization held by RT First deputy PM Ravil Muratov.

Every forth jobless is registered in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.

According to the latest data 34. 967 of the unemployed have been registered in the republic (a week ago the number was 31,5 thousand). Thus, unemployment level makes 1,81 % of total number of economically active population.

In 3 regions of the republic the unemployment rate exceeds 3% limit, including town Bavly (3,49%) and Novosheshminsk (3,3%).

Since the beginning of the year 3,3 thousand people have been sent to the public works, mostly in Alkeevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nurlat, Zelenodolsk regions.
