Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov: “We can organise “Games of winners” 2014 on the highest level”

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov apologizes to Chulpan Khamatova and Charity Foundation “Gift of life” for bureaucratic hurdles caused by Tatarstan officials and incorrect information concerning the concept of “Games of winners”.
On behalf of regional government and personally Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov announces that all commitments on organisation of the World children’s “Games of winners” in Kazan will be fulfilled.
Rustam Minnikhanov admits mistakes made by Tatarstan officials in terms of coordination procedures and event budget.
“I am sure we can organise World children’s “Games of winners” on the highest level. We have all the things needed, a developed infrastructure, volunteers, and comfortable hotels,” Tatarstan President said.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Leyla Fazleeva congratulated on Mother’s Day.
