Combat Banner presented to Kazan higher military school

On February 21 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian First Deputy Minister of Defence - Chief of General Staff of Russian Armed Forces, General of the Army Valery Gerasimov took part in solemn presentation of Combat Banner to Kazan higher military school. The event was held on the threshold of 95th anniversary of the military school.
Chief of General Staff of Russian Armed Forces presented Combat Banner to Head of Kazan higher military school Valery Mironchenko.
Valery Gerasimov said that for 95 years tens of thousands of tank officers were trained at Kazan higher military school. 6 thousand officers and 5 thousand tank crews were trained during Great Patriotic War.
According to Valery Gerasimov, Russian Armed Forces are currently are on the upgrade. New military equipment is provided, social problems are being solved.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the staff of Kazan higher military school on presentation of Combat Banner and noted their distinguished service in training command personnel for tank troops. He wished cadets to successfully pass all trainings and become real officers.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that good relationships have been established between Tatarstan leadership and staff of Kazan higher military school. Officers and cadets always take part in city and regional events and help in solving tasks faced by the republic.
Summing up, Tatarstan President thanked Russian First Deputy Minister of Defence - Chief of General Staff of Russian Armed Forces, General of the Army Valery Gerasimov for attention paid to Kazan higher military school.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
