Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in summary session of Laishevo region

On February 25 First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who took part in the 26th summary session of Laishevo region, noted rapid development of the region.
Before the session, Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the region Mikhail Afanasiev visited new LED lighting manufacturing factory and multi-purpose centre, and the exhibition of small, medium-size, and major enterprises.
Reporting at the session, Mikhail Afanasiev said that according to the rating of social and economic development of municipalities and city districts, Laishevo region was ranked first among regions with urban and rural population and third among all Tatarstan municipalities.
The GRP increased by 6.6 percent, and made 13 bln roubles. The volume of local shipped goods exceeded 14 bln roubles. Investments played a great role in development of Laishevo region due to federal, regional and commercial projects.
“SMART City Kazan” foundation stone laying ceremony with participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was held last year. The amount of investments into the project makes 400 bln roubles. This year first two billion roubles are to be spent for development of the Special Economic Zone “Innopolis”.
Summing up, Aleksey Pesoshin noted high investment potential of Laishevo region and responsible approach of local government to solving all important problems. He also presented several state awards to the most distinguished workers.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
