Ildar Khalikov: “2013 was a good year for dwellers of Pestrechinsky region”

On February 27 at a session of the local Council of Pestrechinsky region Tatarstan Prime Minister said that 2013 was a good year for dwellers of Pestrechinsky region.
Head of the region Eduard Diyarov made a keynote report on results of social and economic development of Pestrechinsky region in 2013 and plans for 2014.
In particular, Eduard Diyarov reported that the GRP increased by 2.4 per cent and made 4.630 billion roubles, per capita income made 11,925 roubles with a 9.1 per cent growth rate, average salary increased by 22.1 per cent and made 19,723.2 roubles. The volume of local shipped goods went up by 52.5 per cent.
“According to the rating of social and economic development of Tatarstan municipalities, Pestrechinsky region was ranked eighth and went five positions up in the rating,” Head of Pestrechinsky region pointed out.
Speaking about agriculture, Eduard Diyarov noted that the industry has always been the important one in the regional economy. In 2013, the average salary in the sector increased by 12 per cent and reached 17,846 roubles.
“We set a lot of tasks in development strategy for 2014, but our main task is steady development of the region and providing good living conditions for every dweller,” Eudard Diyarov noted.
Commenting on results of social and economic development of the region in 2013, Ildar Khalikov was satisfied with results.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
