Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in plenary session of Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum

On February 28 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary session of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum “Russia: New Sources of Growth” during his working trip to Krasnoyarsk.

To the point, the 11th Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum is being held from February 27 to March 1. More than 5000 representatives from 71 Russian regions and 33 countries, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Igor Shuvalov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Arkady Dvorkovich, heads of federal ministries, leaders of the largest companies, leading Russian and foreign experts are taking part in the forum. Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov and Aide to Tatarstan President of Economic Issues Airat Khairullin are on the Tatarstan delegation, headed by Rustam Minnikhanov.

New sources of growth in economy and development of Siberia and the Far East are the main topics for discussion at this year’s forum.

Welcoming participants of the plenary session, Arkady Dvorkovich stressed that the main task of the forum is to find out new sources of growth in economy.

Among such sources Arkady Dvorkovich pointed out more efficient use of resources, increase of labour efficiency, improvement of relations between the state and business, active involvement of small and medium businesses.

During the session, participants and experts expressed their opinion about growth potential of the Russian economy.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Governemnt Arkady Dvorkovich, Russian Ministr of Labour and Social Protection Maksim Topilin, Rector of Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration Vladimir Mau and other experts took part in the session.
