Cabinet of Ministers and municipal regions sign agreements at Tatarstan Government House

On March 3 at a session of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and heads of municipal regions (city districts) signed agreements on achieving planned results of assessment of activity of local self-government in 2014-2016.
Opening the session, Ildar Khalikov told about the necessity to form a unified monitoring system for assessing activity of ministries, departments and local governments. According to him, the system is aimed at reducing the inequality between territories and improving quality of life.
“Today we have signed agreements which are the important mechanism to achieve the set goals. The indicators, which local governments undertake to attain, are specified in the agreements,” Ildar Khalikov pointed out.
Tatarstan Prime Minister also reported that in 2013 the average performance level of target indicators by municipal regions made 75.7 per cent, which is 9.3 per cent more compared to 2012.
Ildar Khalikov said that performance results will be summed up every quarter. At the same time, he said that the number of indicators should be reduced and the regional leadership is looking forward to receiving appropriate proposals from municipal regions.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
