Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in presidium session of Presidential Council for economic modernization and innovative development

On March 4 Tatarstan President, Chairman of the Association of Innovative Regions and Russia Rustam Minnikhanov took part in presidium session of Presidential Council for economic modernization and innovative development held by Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow region.
Members of the Council discussed implementation of innovations and use of modern technologies in construction sphere.
Dmitry Medvedev reminded that a new ministry – Russian Ministry of Construction and Municipal Economy was founded four months ago. He also said that a number of major construction projects were implemented in Russia within the last few years, such as construction of venues for holding summer Universiade in Kazan, APEC summit in Vladivostok, winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi.
Chairman of Russian Government focused on problems connected with use of innovations in construction sphere, noting inefficient coordination of actions of main innovative sectors, heavy expenses on construction and design stages, and preparation of standard technical documents.
Construction of “Smart City Kazan” was presented as the project that implies use of modern materials and technologies.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
