RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov: «Organization of XXIV winter University game in Harbin - a good example for imitation»

Organization of XXIV winter University game in Harbin, scale of this event - a good example for imitation. This was said in the interview to one of the Chinese TV channels yesterday, on February 18th, by Prime Minister of Republic Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
We remind that head of the government of Tatarstan and number of other officials from Republic Tatarstan took part in a solemn opening of XXIV winter World student's Games in Harbin (China) on February, 18th, 2009.
The students from more than 50 countries of the world including from Russia take part in winter Universiada -2009. The sportsmen from Republic Tatarstan also being part of the Russian national team.
«It is necessary to give due to our Chinese colleagues in the issue of organization of winter University game, - Rustam Minnikhanov said. - they invested much efforts».

According to Prime Minister of Tatarstan, «that base which had been laid in China in student's sports, the sports infrastructure, attitude to sports as a whole - a good example for imitation». He also noted, that arranging winter Universiada -2009 was placed at a high level.
Within the limits of visit to China Premier of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with president of the International federation of student's sports (FISU) Mr George Killian.
The meeting was joined also by RT minister on affairs of youth, sports and tourism Marat Bariev, mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin ,aide to RT Prime minister on foreign trade activities Iskander Muflikhanov, member of executive committee FISU - president of the Russian student's sports union Oleg Matytsin, members of organizing committee Universiady-2013 in Kazan.
