Tatarstan President meets with executives of Radiance Hospitality Group

On March 6 at their meeting during the forum “Invest in Tatarstan” Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and executives of Radiance Hospitality Group discussed issues related to the implementation of the project on the construction of hotel and office center at Smart City Kazan as well as other projects.
The Singapore Radiance Hospitality Group will be the investor of the construction and operator of the hotel and office complex as well as the University of tourism and hospitality at Smart City Kazan.
To the point, yesterday RHG and Sberbank signed a preliminary agreement on financing the hotel construction within the framework of the forum “Invest in Tatarstan”.
Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov reported on the progress of the project implementation. The hotel complex will consist of two 20-storey buildings with an area of 20,000 m² each.
In addition, issues related to establishing the University of management and tourism were discussed at the meeting. The executives of the Singapore company told about their intention to open the University before building the facilities in Smart City Kazan. Rustam Minnikhanov asked to find appropriate facilities in this regard.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
