Rustam Minnikhanov: “We are confident in reliability of our peaceful life”

On behalf of RT Government PM Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated Tatarstan citizens on “Defender of the Motherland Day”.

“Nowadays the staff of armed forces is becoming stronger, its professional training and technical facilities are improving. More attention is paid to the veterans who have expended much effort in ensuring of combat readiness in the army and fleet. The glorious military and labour traditions are being revived. A lot is being done for patriotic education of the rising generation. Our republic is also making contribution into improvement of fighting pitch. High potential of Tatarstan companies which are members of Russian military and industrial complex allows implementing various sophisticated defense orders. We are proud of our youth which worthily performs their military duty in troops of RF Ministry of defense.

Notwithstanding the difficulties connected with world finance crisis, the position of our country in economic and military sphere will become stronger. It is of great importance for us to take care of improving industrial production, economic competitiveness and protection of sovereignty. We have to do our best to be ready for repulsing any war dangers”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
In conclusion RT Prime Minister wished everyone peace, health, successes, optimism and confidence in the future.
