Average size of pensions in Tatarstan will have reached 5,5 thousand roubles by the end of 2009

Chief of RF pension fund department in Tatarstan Marsel Imamov informed at a briefing in RT Cabinet that scale of pension in Tatarstan would go from 4300 to 5500 roubles by the end of 2009. The pension is expected to be expanded on the first of March, April and December thus reaching the amount of 5,5 thousand roubles.
Total number of pensioners in Tatarstan encircles 997,2 thousand people.
According to Marsel Imamov, presently, the basic part of labour old-age pension is 1794 roubles. On March, 1 it makes 1950 roubles. Old-age pension for those reaching 80 and the disabled of the third group will make 3900 roubles. Social security pensions are going to increase by 8,7 % totally.
Thus, for 93 % of people pension will expand for 300 roubles, which enables increasing of average amount of pensions up to 4600 roubles.
Insurance payment of the pension is also expected to be increased from April,1.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
