Ildar Khalikov and Tatarstan businessmen arrive in Canada

On March 11-13 during his working trip to Canada, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov will visit Montreal high technology park, where headquarters and research units of 30 companies are located.
Most state-of-the-art projects developed by Quebecois and foreign companies are being implemented at high technology park.
Ildar Khalikov will also visit Bombardier (world’s largest manufacturer of business and regional jets), and Pratt & Whitney (American manufacturer of aircraft engines and military aircrafts) plants.
On March 13 Tatarstan delegation will head for Toronto (Ontario province), where the investment potential of Tatarstan will be presented at CERBA (Canada Eurasia and Russia Business Association) office, and the meeting with Tatars living in Canada will be held.
In the afternoon Tatarstan delegation will visit MaRS Discovery District and University of Toronto.
Ildar Khalikov will also hold several business meetings.
Minister of Health Adel Vafin, Minister of Transport and Roads Lenar Safin, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, trade and economic representative of the Republic of Tatarstan under Trade Representative Office of Russia in the United States Ravil Nigmedzyanov are on the delegation.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
