Rustam Minnikhanov visits first commercial maternity hospital in Tatarstan

In 2007 OOO “AVA-PETER” founded by AO “Scanfert” (Finland), and the Committee of land and property of Kazan Executive Committee signed Agreement on establishment of OAO “AVA-Kazan” under the auspices of Tatarstan Ministry of Health.
For five years a part of the building, a multi-field clinic “AVA-Kazan”, has been reconstructed. The contribution of the Committee of land and property was the building of 19th century – the house of Bahman Grahe, a regional architectural monument. The company funded complete restoration of the housefront.
There are more than 200 medical workers in the clinic now. A policlinic, surgical hospital, department of diagnostics, clinical laboratory, IVF department, and first commercial maternity hospital in Tatarstan are functioning in the clinic.
The clinic was opened in August 2012.
Today Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Aide to Tatarstan President on social issues Tatyana Larionova, First Deputy Minister of Health Sergey Osipov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin came here to see results of restoration works.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
