Rustam Minnikhanov: “It is important that businessmen take care of Tatar traditions and culture”

On March 15, speaking at a plenary session of the III All-Russia meeting of businessmen from Tatar villages, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov noted the contribution of village businessmen to the preservation and promotion of the Tatar language, culture and traditions.
To the point, the III All-Russia meeting of businessmen from Tatar villages is being held in Kazan on March 14-16. The event was organised by the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars and public organisation “Tatar villages of Russia”. More than 400 delegates from 33 Russian and Tatarstan regions, Tatarstan officials, businessmen, scientists, journalists are taking part in the meeting. The delegates from Rostov region and Khabarovsk territory as well as Chinese businessmen came to Kazan to attend the event for the first time.
Before the plenary session, Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the exposition representing products of Tatar village businessmen.
During the meeting businessmen told about their achievements and problems.
Rustam Minnikhanov called the All-Russia meeting of businessmen from Tatar villages a successful mode of communication between Tatar entrepreneurs and officials. “We all should meet and communicate with each other,” Tatarstan President said.
“Today, we have heard how each of you is searching for new ways to success. And it is important that our businessmen take care of Tatar culture and language. These issues cannot be dealt with by the government only. Business and entrepreneurs should also take part in solving them ,” Rustam Minnikhanov continued.
In addition, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that there are more than 4,000 Tatar villages in Russia, and some of them are exemplary to learn and adopt their experience.
Tatarstan President said that the regional leadership also promotes Tatar culture, language and traditions by organising Sabantuy festivals, providing the broadcast of the television channel “TNV-Planet”, establishing the Internet programme for learning the Tatar language.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that the regional leadership made a decision to present several buses to successful Tatar villages for their creative teams and clubs.
Summing up, Tatarstan President wished participants of the meeting success, health and presented several awards.
On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
