Journalists were told about development of relations between Tatarstan and Crimea in the sphere of tourism and children’s holidays

On March 18 at a briefing at RT Government House on development of relations between Tatarstan and Crimea in the sphere of tourism and children’s holidays, Head of Tatarstan Tourism Agency Sergey Ivanov said that 5.9 million tourists, including 2.3 million Russian tourists, visited Crimea in 2013. There are 800 health and recreation centres in Crimea, he noted.
“Crimea is a unique resort, one of four places in the world with such weather conditions, with rich cultural and historical heritage,” he said.
Sergey Ivanov also told about tourist forum “Crimea. First spring” that was held in Simferopol on March 13-14, 2014, when agreements on cooperation between Crimea and some Russian regions were signed. 250 people took part in the forum.
Members of Tatarstan delegation have visited 15 health and recreation centres, where preparatory works for a new tourist season are carried out.
Crimean authorities inform that this year unprecedented prices will be offered for Russian tourists, since the number of Ukrainian tourists will be far less than earlier.
Moreover, direct flights from Kazan to Simferopol will be organized in May-September.
Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Rustam Garifullin told about work of the Regional centre “Chernomorets” that organizes holidays for youth and children on the Black Sea. Every year 5, 000 children from Tatarstan spend holidays in Crimea.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
