Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working trip to Japan

On March 19 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Tokyo (Japan) with a two-day working visit to take part in the 6th Russia-Japan Investment Forum that is dedicated to “Opening new areas for investment cooperation between Russia and Japan”.
Tatarstan delegation will also visit Nomura Research Institute, Panasonic exhibition centre, and museum of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Moreover, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov will hold several meetings with Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), Shinyei Kaisha, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, and Marubeni Corporation.
At the end of his trip Rustam Minnikhanov is going to meet with members of Tatar diaspora living in Japan.
Tatarstan President is accompanied by Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, Director of Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan Ainur Aideldinov, Director General of Special Economic Zone “Innopolis” Igor Nosov, Chairman of State Council Committee on budget, taxes and finance Murad Gadylshin, Board Chairman of OAO “Ak Bars” Robert Minnegaliev, Board Chairman of OAO “TAIF” Rustem Sulteev, Director General of ZAO “Gasprom mezhregiongas Kazan” Rinat Khanbikov.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
