Ildar Khalikov: “Tatarstan understands that its further development is impossible without students”

On March 19, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov attended a conference of Tatarstan students at the UNICS (Kazan). The election of the fifth president of the Tatarstan Student League will take place within the framework of the event.
Welcoming the audience on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Ildar Khalikov said that today’s event is historical both for students and all Tatarstan people, noting that there are a quarter of a million students in the republic.
To the point, Timur Suleimanov has headed the league for four years. During this period, the current leaders have managed to increase the number of participants of their projects and programmes up to 30,000 students annually.
Ildar Khalikov appreciated the activities of Timur Suleimanov and thanked him for his work.
“Being one of the most developed regions, Tatarstan understands that its further development is impossible without students,” Ildar Khalikov concluded.
Head of Tatarstan Government also noted the contribution of students to the preparation and holding of World Summer Universiade in Kazan.
Ildar Khalikov also noted that Tatarstan students will for the first time compete in four kinds of sports, such as hockey, basketball, volleyball and football.
Summing up, Ildar Khalikov wished everyone victories and success, as well as to make the right choice in the election of the president of the Student League.
Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Rafis Burganov, Tatarstan First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Danil Mustafin, President of Kazan Federal University Makzum Salakhov, Chairman of the Russian Student Association Vyacheslav Aderikhin, current President of the Tatarstan Student League Timur Suleimanov were among the distinguished guests at the event.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
