Head of Tatarstan Central election commission Anatoli Fomin: “The parliament of republic will not be mono-party, it will consist of several fractions”

Head of Tatarstan Central election commission Anatoli Fomin told at a traditional briefing in RT Cabinet that during the period of election campaign 33 cases were taken to the courts of various levels, 30 cases have already been examined.
Mainly, all the cases are connected with election campaigning. By and large, Tatarstan parliament has been elected. Preliminary results are as follows: out of 2 mln. 855 thousand voters 2.2 mln. people (78,4 %) took part in the elections.
In accordance with voting results the party “United Russia” has won 79,3 %, KPRF – 11,1 %, “Just Russia ” – 4,8 %, LDPR – 3,08 %. “United Russia” has prevailed in 43 single-seat electoral district.
Head of Tatarstan Central election commission said that from December 2 to March 2 400 voters called “hot line” including on the day of elections itself. People complained about the work of housing and communal services and public transport, illegal dissemination of propaganda materials. On voting day all the claims focused on abuse of observers’ rights. All of them were received from representatives of KPRF.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
