Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in session of Russian Presidential Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sport

On March 24 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a session of Russian Presidential Council for the Development Physical Culture and Sport held by Vladimir Putin (Moscow, Kremlin).
Participants of the session discussed development of mass sport and physical education, creation of All-Russia sports complex, results of winter Olympic Games in Sochi, training of sportsmen for the next games 2018 in Pyeongchang, and development of winter Olympic and Paralympic sports in Russia.
At the beginning of the meeting Vladimir Putin reminded about the ceremony of presentation of state awards to those, who made contribution to preparation for Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi.
“The big Olympic project was the result of hard work of hundreds of thousands people. Well-coordinated, motivated work of all structures, companies and organisations, Russian Olympic Committee, and all sports federations helped us to fulfill all commitments we made, host outstanding Games, as experts, guests and sportsmen say, and, above all, provide huge Olympic heritage that will serve our people for many years,” Vladimir Putin said.

On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
