Dmitry Medvedev visits Russia’s first private technopark in Kazan

On March 25 during his working trip to Kazan, Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev visited Russia’s first private technopark “Navigator Campus” in Kazan.
Russian Prime Minister was accompanied by Presidential Envoy in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, Vice-Premier of Russian Government Arkady Dvorkovich, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
The technology park specializes in robotics, 3D printing, smart devices for “smart houses”, wearable electronics. The area of first stage makes 1200 m². Currently 15 startups are located in technopark. Residents from Kazan, St.Petersburg, Tomsk, Tyumen, Perm, Astrakhan, Tula, Cheboksary, Kiev and Vilnius are working there.
Total amount of investments made 120 million roubles.
Construction of the third stage is to be finished in 2015. The amount of private investments is expected to make 330 million roubles. 100 resident companies will be located in “Navigator Campus”.
Russian Prime Minister was told about projects being implemented in technopark.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
