Rustam Minnikhanov reports to Dmitry Medvedev on implementation of social programmes in Tatarstan

On March 25 at a meeting held at Kazan State Power Engineering University, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov reported to Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev on implementation of a number of social programmes in Tatarstan.
“Thank you for inviting me to see the innovative development of the republic. Everything is going well even under challenging economic сonditions. The sites I have seen today impressed me. Now I would like to return to simple things, but no less important for our citizens, including those living in Tatarstan. I mean housing issues. I know that you are implementing this programme. How is it going?” Dmitry Medvedev said.
“The innovative development is the pledge of our competitiveness. And Tatarstan takes part in all federal programmes. The Innopolis project and special economic zone “Alabuga” are our major innovative projects. Everything is proceeding according to the plan,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Rustam Minnikhanov also noted that Russia’s first private technopark “Navigator Campus” was established in Tatarstan.
As for the capital repair programme, Tatarstan President reported that the programme of capital repair of multi-apartment houses to the amount of 4.7 billion roubles, with over 2 billion roubles being funds of the people, was approved in the republic. “It is planned to repair 850 multi-apartment houses in 2014 and we have already started. No doubt, that main capital repair works will be finished before the next heating season,” Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out.
The second programme, which is very important, is the capital repair of schools that are more than 30 years old. By and large, 165 schools will be repaired this year, Rustam Minnikhanov reported.
According to Tatarstan President, it is expected that works on capital repair of schools will be completed before August 20.
Rustam Minnikhanov also reported on repair of children’s recreation camps and works being done to improve the performance of primary health care.
Despite the difficulties, we will be able to fulfill orders of the Russian President, Rustam Minnikhanov declared.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
