Estimable vacancies in labour market despite unemployment growth in Tatarstan

Minister of labour, employment and social protection Airat Shafigullin said at a briefing in the RT Cabinet that vacancies in Tatarstan labour market encircle 17,4 thousand taking into account temporarily organized working places. Briefing was broadcasted by internet, thus representatives of mass media from all municipal regions could take part in it.
The most in-demand trades are working ones, mainly in construction sphere, transport, engineering professions. According to Airat Shafigullin RT Ministry of interior offers a lot of vacancies (average salary – 10 000 roubles).
By the way, the number of registered unemployed people in Tatarstan exceeded 44 000. Unemployment growth rate for last 2 weeks has decreased and made 2 000 people per week in comparison with 4 000 before.
Republic has already received 415 mln. roubles from federal budget for organization of public works, advance training, moving to new working places, organization of self-employment.
Airat Shafigullin also informed that far and by 12,3 thousand people were sent to public works in Tatarstan. Ministry of labour, employment and social protection plans to organize 25 000 vacancies for public works for 50 000 citizens. Moreover, Ministry of education of Russian federation ordered to increase the number of budget places in Tatarstan higher educational institutions. This measure will help students to finish education in case their parents have became unemployed and are not able to pay for education.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
