Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, trade union of builders and Tatarstan Union of Builders to hold activities before World Day of Labour Protection

On March 29 at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, First Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Municipal Economy Farit Khanifov said that Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, trade union of builders and Tatarstan Union of Builders will hold some activities before World Day of Labour Protection.
In particular, KVN “Best experts in labour protection and legislation in construction sphere of the Republic of Tatarstan 2014” with participation of teams of building organisations and educational institutions will be held on April 11.
A conference on issues of labour protection in construction sphere will be held within the framework of 19th exhibition “VolgaStroiExpo” on April 22.
Farit Khanifov also reported that from the beginning of 2014 the State construction supervision organisation carried out 291 inspections, by results of which 64 resolutions for the sum of 1 million 870 thousand roubles were passed.
According to the State labour protection inspection, 8 accidents happened in building industry.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
