87.4 thousand tonnes of cattle and poultry grown in the first quarter of 2014 in Tatarstan

On April 5at a regional video conference held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov reported on results of livestock sector in the first quarter of 2014.
He reported, in particular, that 87.4 thousand tonnes of cattle and poultry were grown in the first quarter of 2014 in Tatarstan, of which 84.1 thousand tonnes of produce were sold. Besides, 262.8 tonnes of milk were produced, the number of cattle stock made 752.7 thousand tonnes.
According to Marat Akhmetov, the growth dynamics of cattle stock was positive as of April 1. The purchase price was higher than last year. It was also noted that agricultural produce is in demand. The proceeds in livestock sector are expected to make 11.7 billion roubles. The growth amounted to 22 per cent compared to previous year.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
