Rustam Minnikhanov to take part in session of Supervisory board of Agency for strategic initiatives to promote new projects

On April 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working trip to Moscow to take part in a session of Supervisory board of the Agency for strategic initiatives to promote new projects in Novo-Ogarevo.
It is expected that Board members will discuss establishing a national rating and the current state of the investment climate in Russian regions.
To the point, the national investment attractiveness rating of Russian regions aims to increase motivation of regional authorities, monitor the implementation of national entrepreneurial initiatives and identify the best practices. The work on establising the national investment attractiveness rating is being carried out on President Vladimir Putin’s instruction.
Besides, Russia’ bid to host the WorldSkills International Competition in 2019 will be touched upon at today’s session.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
