Tatarstan Prime Minister offered local self-government bodies to analyze situation with unemployment growth in countryside

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov said at a ceremony of signing the agreement with representatives of local self-government bodies that Kazan experience in holding vacancies fair may be used in other city districts and municipal regions. He also informed about visiting a fair of vacancies organized by RT Ministry of labour, employment and social care in Kazan Palace of culture “Khimikov”.

Notwithstanding the unemployment there are 6 000 vacancies available in various economic spheres in Kazan and 17,5 thousand vacancies throughout Tatarstan. Salary makes about 10 000 roubles and more. Thus, RT Ministry of interior and sphere of city transport offer a lot of vacancies.

Head of RT Government offered organizing specialized fairs of vacancies with participation of companies which need employees. He expressed concern over growth of unemployment in rural areas and recommended local self-government bodies to pay attention to self-employment of people and organization of private backyards.

Rustam Minnikhanov supposes that the situation was caused by information about increase of unemployment benefit.

The size of unemployment benefit is annually approved by Russian government. In 2008 it made 781 roubles, maximum – 3124 roubles. Since January, 2009 it has grown by 4,9 thousand roubles per month.
