Chinese producer of transformers is interested in cooperation with Tatarstan

On April 15 during the visit of Tatarstan delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to ТВЕА headquarters in Urumqi, executives of ТВЕА company said that they are interested in cooperation with Tatarstan enterprises and launching of their production in the republic.

Being world’s biggest producer of transformers and power supply equipment, ТВЕА deals with clean energy and production of new materials, including polysilicone and superpurity aluminum. The company supplies equipment to substations, power stations, electricity transmission lines, and render services of general contractor in China and all over the world.

Today members of Tatarstan delegation visited plant producing high-voltage transformers in Urumqi with two thousand people working at the plant. By and large, 20, 000 employees work at ТВЕА enterprises. Residential districts for workers with developed social infrastructure are located near the plant.
ТВЕА Board Chairman Mr. Zhanxin said that the company is willing to cooperate with Tatarstan.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov noted high level of company’s technological development, large amount of manufactured produce and industrial management. Noting Tatarstan developed industry, Rustam Minnikhanov said that ТВЕА can take part in implementation of projects in energy sector. He suggested establishing a working group to find out prospective projects to be implemented in the republic. Addressing company’s management, Rustam Minnikhanov asked to consider opportunity of establishing their own production in Tatarstan to enter big Russian market.

Memorandum on cooperation was signed by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and ТВЕА. The document implies creation of the working group and visit of company’s experts to Tatarstan.

Members of Tatarstan delegation also visited Xinjiang international exhibition centre, one of the biggest multi-purpose exhibition complexes in China.
